What Our Skin Needs - Part II

LIVER OVERLOAD

There is an internal, external connection that is always present. When we breathe, whatever we inhale goes through our lungs, and our liver.   But it is the liver that performs most of the filtering work. In the same way, whatever is applied to our skin gets absorbed by the skin, but it is the liver that filters these compounds or stores them. We have been inhaling, eating and applying so many chemicals compounds, that it is now a documented fact that even babies are born with hundreds of foreign chemicals in their blood. Our livers are working overtime to keep up. But in the midst of wanting healthy skin, there is an added responsibility, keeping our livers healthy.    To be continued...

Soo true what you said about the liver. I have recently done a cleanse and I can see the difference in my skin. Thanks,
